GXS Exchange Module FAQ
What is a GXS Exchange module?
A field exchangeable module solution for due-for-service pumps allows the Field Service team to swap the GXS screw pump and/or the booster pump, depending on the pump service needs, on the same day. This achieves the required pump service, while securing your production uptime.
What is the scope of the module?
The service module is a comprehensive assembly of the pump and/or booster, together with the motor, oil fill, and the heatsink in one package. It is fully tested so that you get the optimal performance you expect.
My pump crashed. Can I still use a Field Exchange module?
The field module is designed for preventive maintenance on due-for-service vacuum pumps. For pumps that have already crashed, a root cause analysis must be conducted first to verify if a module exchange will fix the issue, or if another service solution is needed.
