We offer Digital gauges and Analogue D-Sub gauges for direct integration into your systems, providing seamless connectivity without the need for digital controllers. Our Analogue RJ45 gauges are compatible with all current controllers, including ADC, TAG, VSC and TIC, ensuring easy incorporation into your existing setups.

The VacuSense Controller (VSC) is a flexible, multi-device vacuum control platform featuring a 4.2" high-resolution colour touchscreen and an advanced, interactive user interface.

It provides clear visualisation of connected pumps, gauges, and accessories, alongside intelligent, colour-coded notifications for alarms and system events.

The VSC supports flexible data logging directly to onboard memory, giving you a clear data log of system behaviour, whether for a single experiment or longer‑term investigation. 

Designed for plug-and-play integration, the interface supports extensive connectivity, including USB-C front-panel access and EDHUB compatibility for remote monitoring. 

There are 3 main types of confirguration offered by VSC,  for efficient operation across simple and complex vacuum system.:

  • 3 × active analogue gauge connections: Designed for straightforward applications, monitor up to three active analogue vacuum gauges with simple, real‑time insight. 

  • 6 × active analogue gauge connections: Expand your system visibility with support for six active analogue gauges, ideal for applications that demand broader monitoring.

  • 3 × active analogue gauge and 2 × pump connections: Gain complete system control with the ability to manage three active analogue gauges alongside two vacuum pumps and accessories.
    Optional onboard pump powering further streamlines installation, reducing setup time and complexity.

What are the key features of VSC?

  • Ease of use - Designed for effortless operation, the VSC features a 4.2" colour touchscreen, intuitive navigation, and options for serial communication and remote control, ensuring easy access and user engagement.

  • Flexible system integration - The VSC range is designed for seamless integration, being rack-mountable and backwards-compatible with the Edwards TIC Controller. Its plug-and-play setup allows for quick installation, making it ideal for setting up specific processes that will run many times or for one-time experiments.

  • Flexible and future-proof - The VSC is perfect for single pump/gauge setups or small vacuum systems. Its feature-rich software, along with regular updates and field upgradeability via EDHUB, ensures adaptability for evolving projects and keeps the system up to date.

  • Advanced data logging - Configurable data logging allows you to tailor the parameters to your specific needs, giving detailed insights into your system. Take advantage of the onboard memory to log data for extended periods, or log straight to your PC on EDHUB. Data can be accessed via laptop or quickly extracted through either of the USB connectors—fine-tuned monitoring at your fingertips.

  • Intelligent interface - The VSC offers unlimited variations, full customization, and advanced colour-coded alarms, warnings, and error codes, allowing you to focus on key metrics with ease.

Does VSC support multiple languages in its interface?

Yes it does! 
The VSC supports English, German, Italian, French, Simiplied Chinese and more for ease of use globally.

ADC Active Digital Controller

The Active Digital Controller (ADC) is a compact single-line vacuum gauge controller with a bright LED display and simple push-button controls.

It automatically recognizes compatible Edwards gauges, loads the appropriate look-up table, and displays the pressure in common vacuum units.

The ADC is available in standard and enhanced MkII versions. The MkII supports two gauges with variable set points linked to relays and analog outputs. This makes it an excellent choice for a broad range of laboratory and industrial applications due to its intuitive plug-and-play operation, wide pressure range, and high visibility display.

TIC Controllers

The TIC Controllers are versatile, compact system controllers featuring a large graphical display and intuitive user interface.

They offer full remote control and data logging via a Windows™-based PC program.

Ideal for small processes, with plug-and-play functionality and standard RS232/485 communication.

There are 3 main types of controller within the TIC range:

  • TIC Instrument Controller: a gauge controller with 3 and 6 gauge variants, as well as a 6 gauge capman variant for use with Barocel capacitance manometer gauges
  • TIC Turbo Controller: a pump controller available in 100W and 200W variants, for connecting one turbomolecular pump, with cooling and vent valve support directly from the controller. The 200W variant additionally has a backing pump connection   
  • TIC Turbo and Instrument Controller: a pump and gauge controller available in 100W or 200W variants, which combines the features of both the TIC Instrument and TIC Turbo controllers

PGC Passive Gauge Controller

Passive gauges electronics are kept in a separate controller, which is what enables them to cope in irradiated environments.

Two controllers are available in the range: analogue and digital outputs, on-board set points offer you the choice on how to integrate into your wider system.

  • PGC201 – driving 2 Pirani gauges (PRG20K) and one cold cathode gauge (CPG35K).
  • PGC202 – driving 2 Pirani gauges (PRG20K) and one hot cathode gauge (IG40BA or IG40EX).

TAG Turbo and Active Gauge Controllers

The Turbo and Active Gauge (TAG) Controller is a compact, cost-effective system controller compatible with all Edwards EXT and nEXT turbomolecular pumps.

It features a large LED display for pump speed or vacuum pressure and an easy-to-use push-button interface.

Ideal for bench tops or mobile platforms, the TAG controller can run a backing pump, air vent valve, air cooler, and an Edwards active gauge. It offers comprehensive pump control, including start/stop functions, speed display, and performance monitoring, making it a versatile choice for various vacuum applications.
