Find out more about what our graduates have to say below.
I rotate around different parts of our Technology function where I’m able to access cutting-edge technologies to make visible and sustainable improvements for the global vacuum industry. For example, I worked on a ‘secret weapon’ shuttle pump where I was responsible for understanding and redesigning this unique pump – I was very excited to see my modified mechanism in action! The Graduate scheme at Edwards has given me a wide range of opportunities to get a rounded understanding of the whole business. A typical day within the Technology team includes collaborative meetings with my colleagues, lab testing work and data analysis. Sometimes I use software for simulation/calculation. Every day is full of new challenges and a great deal of fun! If you are excited about novel technologies and are full of ideas to change the world, then Edwards is the ideal place for you to begin your career journey.
I joined the Service Supply Chain department after completing the Global Graduate Programme in 2014. The six months I spent in South Korea gave me the opportunity to understand our business and products from the shop floor perspective, a good grounding for my current role as a BPI Specialist."
"After completing the Global Graduate Development Programme with placements in the UK, I moved back to China to take on my first role as an Applications Engineer. Based in Shanghai as an Application Engineer, my work is varied and interesting"
