    It can be easy to overlook pump maintenance in a busy environment. However, doing so leaves you open to more serious issues and even higher costs in the long run. Here you can discover why prevention really is better than cure when it comes to your vacuum pumps.

    There's nothing new about the concept of prevention being better than cure. The phrase “prevention is better than cure” is often attributed to the Dutch philosopher Desiderius Erasmus from around the year 1500, and the concept is still valid today in many aspects of our life. The phrase is also applicable to the health of your vacuum pumps.

    • You can plan and budget for the upcoming years, so that maintenance can take place in a timeframe that best suits your production cycles and allowing you to allocate a suitable budget
    • You can achieve a lower total cost of ownership of your pumps, as replacing worn parts is cheaper than fixing core parts and because the pump will last longer
