As part of our commitment to mitigating any impact on our customers’ operations, we would like to offer an update on Edwards operations in light of the Novel Coronavirus outbreak in China’s Hubei province.
Following the Chinese Government announcement of 28th January that the Lunar New Year holiday is to be extended, it is currently anticipated that the supply chain in China will resume normal operations from 10th February. In the interim, we do not expect any delay in the production or delivery of products to our customers.
Looking ahead to the potential need for further mitigation, we are in the process of identifying alternative sources for our China-sourced components. Edwards currently has no suppliers in the Wuhan region.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as necessary. In the meantime, we encourage our customers to contact their usual Edwards customer contact to address any specific enquiries.
