Your Tasks:

  • Performance Optimization: Maximize equipment performance and prevent breakdowns through both scheduled and unscheduled service visits.
  • Customer Relations: Build strong relationships, continually develop technical skills, and support industries that depend on vacuum technology.
  • Scheduled Maintenance & On-Site Repairs: Regularly visit customer sites to perform routine maintenance, inspections and on-site repairs on vacuum pumps and related equipment.
  • Equipment Installation: Install and commission new vacuum systems, ensuring high standards for seamless and reliable operation.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols, conduct Last Minute Risk Assessments, and wear proper personal protective equipment.
  • Travel Flexibility: Maintain mobility and flexibility by traveling frequently to meet on-site customer service demands.

 

Your Team:

  • Work closely with the Field Service Planner to coordinate visits and ensure smooth scheduling to focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Connect remotely with other Sales Teams for advice and collaboration.
  • Be part of a wider team, including Customer Care Team/Coordinator, Inside Sales, and Technical Support - Access resources needed to tackle any challenges in the field.

  • Education Requirements: A technical degree in engineering or a related field is required to become a Field Service Engineer. Or a high school diploma/equivalent with mechanical training.
  • Relevant Experience: Experience working with mechanical or electrical systems is essential.
  • Key Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, effective communication, and a customer-focused mindset are important for success.
