Contribute to sustainable and profitable growth of Systems and Solutions being the Project Manager and taking responsibility of the order and project initiation process.

Lead the complex project handover process with all relevant first project manager tasks to secure a smooth project transfer from the Applications and Proposals Group to the relevant Product Companies

Main responsibilities: 

  • Lead final proposal stage negotiation and clarifications process together with sales, organize and take the technical lead on internal and external KOM with the support of the Proposals.
  • Undertake all necessary actions on order initiation process.
  • Being responsible for the Project Team Setup in collaboration with the executing Product Companies Manufacturing Managers to find the most suited team.
  • The role will be mainly focused on work executed in our European systemisation factories but will be extended to support our global systemisation centres occassionally
  • Complete Project documents, which are immediately required during order acknowledgements like ITP, project and document schedule and communicate the required deliverables with the project team.
  • Summarize the technical content from the Proposals documents, ensure compliance with customer specifications and deviations list, carry out engineering activities and provide technical documents for sub suppliers for major system components such as pumps, electrical motors, heat exchangers, separator vessels, instruments, valves, controls and other high value components to initiate the start of the project execution phase.
  • Provide technical support to the Project Team on project execution and undertake necessary actions to ensure the project schedule and the specification is complied with.
  • Support the Project Team with dealing with Order Variations
  • Support the Project Team with dealing with questions received post shipment
  • leading the lessons learned session for continuous improvements after completion of the project.

Scope of Work:

  • Project Schedule fixing the six project stages (initialization, design, sourcing, manufacturing, shipping, closing)
  • ITP and quality requirements
  • Required Certifications
  • Document schedule (maintained before PO), added to Project Schedule and adjusting and tracking as the project develops
  • Sub-vendor List
  • Specification for main equipment (H/E, motor, separator, Ejector, condenser) and contact for finalizing PO to sub suppliers.
  • Instruct PE for other items and what to consider because of specifications
  • Being point of contact the first weeks for customer and internal until PE has started to gear up.

To succeed, you will need:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management of complex technical products
  • have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the project. This includes knowledge of the specific technologies, equipment, and processes involved in the project, as well as an understanding of the regulatory and safety requirements that apply to the project.
  • strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and control projects effectively. This includes skills in budgeting, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder management.
  • excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to ensure that team members, stakeholders, and other parties involved in the project are kept informed and aligned with project goals and objectives.
  • Being able to motivate and inspire team members to perform at their best. This includes the ability to set clear expectations, provide guidance and support, and hold team members accountable for their work.
  • strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop effective solutions to address them. This requires a combination of technical knowledge, analytical skills, and creativity.
