The 2022 edition of SEMICON Korea took place on 9-11 February at COEX, Seoul.
Edwards was a proud Platinum Sponsor of the trade show, which attracted over 16,000 in-person attendees.
Our presence at the show focused on the mission statement “Sustainability through collaboration” and presented the perfect occasion to introduce the Edwards ESG activities, underlining the importance of carbon reduction in semiconductor manufacturing.
The Edwards booth also put in the spotlight the new iXH6550HTX Dry Pump and its new added functions, as well as the STP-iX3006CV Turbopump, which has recently started mass production in Korea.
Furthermore, we had the chance to showcase our expertise and thought leadership during two virtual sessions.
Chris Jones, Environmental Solutions Business Development Manager, took part in the Plasma Science and Etching Technology session with a presentation titled “Moving to Net Zero 2050 – the Importance of Low Carbon Emission (GWP) in Etch Applications.”
The Sustainable Manufacturing Forum saw Global Product Manager Erik Collart taking part with a piece highlighting how “Collaborative Smart Manufacturing Enables Sustainable SubFab Vacuum and Abatement and Cleanroom Operations”.
