nXLi single inlet Enhanced datasheet
Enhanced performance.
Trusted reliability.
Simplified control.
With nXL110i Enhanced and nXL200i Enhanced models available in both single inlet and dual inlet configurations. The nXLi Enhanced platform gives you the flexibility to match pump performance to your application requirements. Combining proven dry multistage Roots technology with an enhanced drive and dual-inlet capability, the platform supports diverse analytical and research applications, delivering dependable vacuum performance for high-throughput LC–MS, electron microscopy, turbomolecular pump backing, and chamber evacuation.
The family is designed for global usability, featuring an air‑cooled design and a single-phase 200–240 V (+/‑10%) 50/60 Hz power supply, ensuring consistent worldwide operation.
Built on the proven nXLi range, the nXLi Enhanced combines the same reliable pumping mechanism with a more powerful drive, an intuitive control panel and aligned communication capabilities.
The nXLi dual inlet Enhanced combines high throughput and low-pressure capability in one compact system, helping to simplify system design, reduce energy consumption and lower overall costs without compromising performance.
Key benefits include:
For applications such as mass spectrometry, where high pumping speed for source gases and low backing pressure for turbomolecular pumps are both essential, the nXLi dual inlet Enhanced offers a practical alternative to conventional two-pump setups.
The nXLi Enhanced platform is built around our proven dry Multistage Roots mechanism, delivering reliable performance with no maintenance needed for up to five years under typical use.
Key benefits include:
The Enhanced drive features Transient Boost Mode, delivering additional power during key phases of operation, such as chamber pump-down or temporary increases in gas load. In this mode, the drive delivers increased power level for a defined period before automatically returning to its continuous operating condition.
This additional capability enables operation with larger chamber volumes or higher gas loads and can help reduce pump-down times, providing greater application flexibility while maintaining reliable operation.
The nXLi Enhanced features the same control panel used for the nXRi product family, making operation intuitive and easy to follow. Standardised interfaces and communication protocols support simpler integration with Edwards dry Multistage Roots Pumps. The pump can be operated directly through the convenient dashboard or controlled remotely using parallel or serial communication. And performance monitoring is available through our free nST2 software via the integrated USB port.
Integrated valve control for process protection
An additional accessory port enables direct control of isolation valves, such as the Edwards VIV Vacuum Isolation Valve. This supports vacuum isolation without the need for separate control electronics or an additional power supply, protecting from back venting in the event of power loss.
Gas ballast capability
The nXLi Enhanced includes a gas ballast connection to help prevent vapour condensation within the pump, supporting reliable operation and protection of internal components. A flow restrictor is supplied as standard with single-inlet models and is available as an option for dual-inlet configurations, providing controlled airflow with minimal impact on pumping performance.
Mobility and handling
Integrated castors and levelling feet make the pump easy to position and install. For added convenience during loading and unloading, an optional handle kit is available to support easier handling.
Intuitive control panel and monitoring
The intuitive control panel provides straightforward pump operation and a consistent user experience. An integrated USB interface supports monitoring and diagnostics through our free nST2 software.
