E3 Programme
Edwards is a keen supporter of the E3 Programme. The E3 Academy supports the development of young people interested in challenging and well-paid careers in leading UK engineering companies. As well as holding scholarships at the participating universities, our E3 scholars are supported with vacation work placements, summer schools and company mentoring, leading to employment after graduation. I am currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Industrial Project MEng Honours at Newscastle university. I started studying in October 2016 and am in my second working placement at my sponsoring company. Edwards Ltd. based in Eastbourne, Sussex. The E3 programme has enabled me to be linked to an employer at an early stage of my career and being sponsored by a world-leading employer in vacuum technology
Sponsorship
For a handful of undergraduates they will be awarded sponsorship for their final year at University. This is awarded based on the performance during summer vacation work or Internships with us. The sponsorship is awarded on the expectation that your return to Edwards upon graduation.
