Part 3 of a 5 Part Series – The 5 Step Shopping Cart

You have found and researched your product through the product finder. You have checked for the availability and have an estimated ship date. Now you are ready for the five step process to complete your purchase. In this issue we will take you through the process and some of the new features associated with this simplified checkout system.

The second step in the process is PAYMENT.  Registered customers who have previously orderd by credit card will have their details stored and can be selected from the drop down list.
These details can be updated in the ‘Personal Profile’ in the login section.
Registered customers who have an account with Edwards also have the option of placing an order by purchase order number. Everyone must enter a PO or reference number in the field provided.  This information can be used at a later date to search for a particular order.

Once the payment details press the button to proceed to the Delivery options.  This is the third step of our 5 step checkout process.  Edwards customers who have registered with the website will find their delivery options populated automatically according to their past deliveries.  New delivery addresses can also be added on this screen Once you have verified the delivery address

You are sent to the fourth step – dispatch options. Here you can request a date you would like the item delivered, what shipping method to use (again registered customers this will automatically populate but you have the option to change the information).  Changing the delivery options will cause the order to be repriced to account for the new shipping method. In the case of a order with multiple items you have the option to have them delivered as they become available or in a single shipment.  Once you have made all of your choices you can place your order.

The fifth and final step in the process is the confirmation and order summary. Here you will get confirmation the order was sent and the confirmation number to refer to should you need to call Edwards with any questions. After the order has been placed changes can only be made by calling Edwards customer service.  The number for your Edwards Customer Care Center appears at the top of every page.
