Environmental

The GXS has several key environmental advantages: as well as class-leading low power consumption, GXS power saving can be further enhanced by the use of the standby (Active Utility Control) mode of operation when the pump is idling off-process, and this mode can also save purge gas in some applications; the advanced non-oxidising lubricant system means no regular consumption or disposal of hydrocarbon oils is needed, and in fact the used lubricant can be recovered on servicing and fully recycled, after suitable treatment; the local pump room environment is further enhanced by the quiet operation of the GXS, which at a noise specification of less than 64dBa is up to 12dBa quieter than other dry pumps of equivalent size.

A further benefit of the advanced screw design is very compact size. A significantly smaller footprint is achieved compared to most other vacuum pumps of the same class, and this gives important savings in installation space in the customer’s pump room.

The overall volume of the GXS is also surprisingly small for the pumping speed provided, and this enables easy handling and fast installation. Together with the interconnection hardware and communications facilities provided as standard on the pump, the compact size also makes it very simple to integrate the GXS into other customer systems.

If the trade-in item is not returned Edwards within 30 days, the customer will be invoiced the difference. Non-standard, refurbished and clearance items are excluded. Price includes one day field service engineer to attend on site to offer supervision of installation and start up assistance excluding travel costs and material.
