 | In order to ensure consistency of approach from all global locations, Edwards has transformed its management system with the implementation of Edwards Quality Elements (EQE’s). EQE’s define global policy and requirements for Edwards worldwide. The EQE structure has been designed to meet customer requirements, quality management system requirements (ISO 9001:2008), and Environmental Health & Safety management system requirements, as well wider business requirements such as human resource systems, business ethics and intellectual property. |
SSQA (Supplier Standardised Quality Assessment) is the tool Edwards had chosen to measure the effectiveness and maturity of our management system and processes. The tool provides a means of assessing ‘where are we now’ and provides a scoring system covering four perspectives targeting customer satisfaction (Management Commitment, Systems Approach, Deployment and Results). This tool is used to support continual quality improvement initiatives.
Edwards major facilities are third party certified to the international Quality Management Standard ISO 9001.
